Science of Soccer
Sci-Tech Discovery Center
I am especially excited about this one. The Sci-Tech Discovery Center on Dallas Pkwy is combining World Cup fever with hands-on STEM learning in its Science of Soccer event this Saturday starting at 10am, all included free with regular museum admission. Kids can meet local sports professionals, learn how athletes fuel and train, and head into Maker Studio to design and test actual soccer safety gear on dummies. It is the kind of morning where your child walks out feeling like both an engineer and an athlete, and that is pretty hard to beat.
